Barwon Necklace is a stunning piece of handcrafted jewellery from the Karmatude Collection.

My home town of Geelong had a large textile industry with wool stores and weaving mills, which employed members of my family before the downturn. The weave used in this piece was sourced from the last remaining mill on the banks of the Barwon River.

Woven wool fringe on a cotton cord.

Wrapped with navy wool yarn & copper thread.

Copper closures.

Length measured from back of neck 36cm (14")

All materials sustainably sourced.

Designed and crafted in Melbourne Australia. 

Orders accepted however, there may be a slight variation with each handcrafted piece.

This necklace will be delivered in a natural dyed linen dust bag unless an elegant black box with velvet insert is preferred.
